What a month it’s been! Just a few weeks ago, we were delighted to join Mayor Garcetti at the groundbreaking on the new North Atwater Multimodal Bridge. This has been years in the making, and because of the public-private partnership with the La Kretz family and dozens of LA leaders, residents will have safe access to Griffith Park! We are honored to be one of the many organizations that collaborated to make this project happen.
In other good news, the LA River recreation zone is officially open! Now, until Labor Day (September 3), you can access the river for kayaking, fishing, and more. If you’re hoping to kayak this season, LA River Expeditions offers 10% off River LA Supporters. Use code RIVERLAROCKS2018 at checkout and be sure to tag your images #LARiver!
