Please join us at our second Bike-In of the year. We will be popping up at the LA State Historic Park under the Broadway Bridge Viaduct in Chinatown.
The evening will feature an Urban Ag workshop, Echo Park Film Center shorts, River Wild food vendors and a bonfire. To round out the food theme we will be showing the family friendly foodie film, Ratatouille.
NOTE: The Movie begins at 8pm, all other activities take place between 6-8pm.
What is an Urban Ag Workshop all about?
The Urban Agriculture Green Infrastructure Plan seeks to create a healthy, sustainable neighborhood in the CASP. A successful greening plan will be impactful, implementable, identifiable, and sustainable. It will also lead to the identification of several potential projects within the study area that will be viable and attractive to potential green developers. We will have interactive activities to capture your feedback as well as a hands-on backyard gardening station.
Join us to learn about and provide input on Urban Agriculture Green Infrastructure opportunities in the Cornfield Arroyo Seco Specific Plan (CASP) area. The CASP includes portions of Chinatown, Downtown, Elysian Park, Cypress Park, Glassell Park, Lincoln Heights, the Arroyo Seco and the Los Angeles River. The Urban Ag Workshop is being funded through Proposition 84 Urban Greening Planning Grant Program.
