Penny Lundgren is a certified public accountant providing financial services and not-for-profit entity expertise to River LA.  In addition, Penny brings her passion for the outdoors and education to River LA’s programming priorities in outdoor equity and expanding parks and open space.

Penny’s previous experiences include producing action sports live events and television programming for ESPN and managing the Winter Gravity Games for Octagon Sports Marketing with NBC and Petersen Publishing.  Additionally, Penny fulfilled a goal of giving back to her community by earning a California secondary teaching certificate and teaching at a California public high school.  

Penny Davidson Lundgren’s athletic resume includes over 100 professional podium finishes and is a UCI World Bronze Medalist and 2x US National Champion Cyclist, representing the United States at six world championships as a downhill mountain bike athlete and served as the sports color commentator for ESPN for multiple years. Penny was also invited to the inaugural XGames.

Penny is married to Swedish National Ski Champion, Jonas Lundgren and loves to snowboard, mountain bike, hike, ride horses and manage her farm in Yucaipa, CA.
