River LA is thrilled to announce the appointment of our Director of External Affairs, Maria Camacho, to the Lower Los Angeles River Working Group. The appointment by State Resource Secretary John Laird helps us in our long standing mission to ensure that all 51 miles of the LA River are included in ongoing revitalization efforts. We are especially thankful to Speaker Anthony Rendon for his commitment to that vision and for creating this working group so that no community is left behind and the Rivercan be a resource and playground for all.
