Fun fact (not). The City of Glendale is planning to build a new, large, gas-fired power plant right next to the river where takes a 90 degree westward bend. The plant would be right across from Griffith Park – LA Zoo, Ferraro athletic fields, Autry. Wouldn’t it be wonderful to turn that into beautiful revitalized riverside park space?? Tell Glendale we don’t want to despoil the river with a gas plant!!
