My take is that we need to stop doing surveys and crowd-sourcing priorities and actually do what we all know needs to be done already. Equitability, clean water, public access, stormwater management, cultural vibrancy, robust public spaces? Yes!!--and duh. The strongest suggestion I have is that there are far more effective ways you could spend your donations and grants than to run a survey to ask which one of these absolutely essential river revitalization goals people prefer. This isn't a salad bar. It's not eBay, and it's not a popularity contest. This is a cogent big-picture initiative to create a more sustainable and equitable future--a project to ensure that our children and grandchildren will be able to survive and thrive--so please stop futzing around. Thank you.
