Sunday, July 22, 2018 3:00 - 5:30 p.m. 2817 Clearwater Street Los Angeles, 90039
We launch this series at the studio of renowned visual artist Michael Todd. In addition to viewing both vintage and new works on display, Mike will give a talk on the meaning, methods and history of his life as an artist. There will be locally sourced food, a hosted bar, a silent auction featuring Frogtown’s own “makers”, live music and good company - a perfect Sunday afternoon by the Los Angeles River. Parking is limited or distant, so please consider using a ride-share service. Michael Todd is one of the first artists to set up shop in Frogtown nearly forty years ago. He has created his zen-like art in what has now become a burgeoning enclave of creativity, currently hosting an array of artist studios, eateries, coffee houses and galleries.
