RIVER LA RELEASES VIDEO PRODUCED BY WOMEN IN FILM

River LA has released a new video showcasing the rich diversity of activities available at the LA River. The video, produced by Women in Film’s PSA Program, shows three teens discovering the LA River for the first time after a blue heron, the LA River’s mascot, interrupts their selfie.  They see skateboarders and car enthusiasts enjoying the urban landscape under the 3rd Street Bridge, picnickers playing near the Glendale Narrows, kayakers paddling through serene waters and bikers racing down the river-adjacent bike path. In the final shot, the teens are splashing in the shallow waters, the blue heron nearby.
