Last week, thanks to Councilmembers Paul Krekorian and Bob Blumenfield, the Budget and Finance Committee preserved $1M in funding for the North Atwater Bridge, $40M for Taylor Yard G2 and $2M for the ARBOR LERRDs River projects.  This is considered a big win and we could not have done it without the help of these two Councilmembers and others.

The recommendation for river oriented funding will be included in the Committee's report to the full City Council, which will be voted on this week. You can make a public testimony and to support the projects on Wednesday, May 18th (Item 11) at 10am. The full Council vote will be on Thursday, May 19th. 

Please take a moment to thank both Councilmembers Krekorian and Blumenfield, so we can continue our momentum this week during budget deliberations and save these River related projects.
