Please save the date and celebrate at Los Angeles State Historic Park on 5/27/18. California State Parks and Los Angeles River State Park Partners will present CausePlay, a free family event with art, music, activities and creative programming celebrating the power of community in the “Cradle of Los Angeles.” Join us to honor the original Chinatown Yard Alliance and unveil Rosten Woo’s A Park is Made by People, an oral history of this grassroots effort to save the land as much needed open-space. Activities will include guided walks, hands on workshops, games, yoga and activations at our public art sites. At sunset there will be S’mores and a wildlife program by the campfire.
